Connectwise Control (CWC) is Grace Solutions' remote access tool which allows us to remotely connect to your computer or server from our office and provide support and assistance as if we were with you at your PC.


Whilst installation of this is entirely optional, we strongly recommend it as it saves an enormous amount of time (and cost) and allows us to help much more quickly. Once installed, the software allows us access to your computer as if were were logged on as you.


For the best ongoing support we recommend that the software is left installed - this allows us to quickly remote connect at any time you require support. Our access to the remote control software is protected by multi-factor authentication so presents only a very small risk...


Once installed the agent runs as a small icon in the system tray on your Windows or OSX computer.


Installation:

To install CWC on your computer:

  • Browse to https://grace.solutions/support-centre/ 
  • From the list of downloads select and download the correct Connectwise installer package for your platform:
  • Once downloaded, run the installer package and follow the wizard - it should be simple and quick
  • Once installed the software shows as a small red icon in your system tray:
  • Hovering over the icon will show your computer name (hostname) and the CWC connection status - "connected" if a remote control session is active, and "waiting for host" if it's ready for a remote connection session to be started when required:
